Aroma
Fragrance, intensity, character.
Visual *
Presentation, latte art, color, layers, and how the cup is served.
* For hot drinks ordered to go, Visual is not scored.
How scores show up
Overall score
Each review's overall score is based on Flavor, Aroma, and Visual. The score shown on a review card reflects that reviewer's rating for that specific drink. That review also contributes to the shop's Coffee Rating, which is based on all coffee reviews submitted for that shop and updates in real time.
Recommendation rate
After scoring, reviewers answer one simple question: would you recommend this cup? The recommendation rate is the percentage of reviewers who said yes.
What a Verified Review means
A Verified Review means the reviewer checked in and submitted their review while in close proximity to the coffee shop. This does not affect the score itself.
